From The Pateley Bridge & Nidderdale Herald report of the 44th Nidderdale & District Drama Festival:
The festival concluded with Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society performing an orignal play, The Receptionist, written and directed by Nevin Ward.
The opening scene depicts a typical waiting area and the play gives a graphic insight as to to how we feel during our own experiences in a waiting room.
The audience are never exposed to the type of waiting room, but the rapid pace and sustained pauses of the play maintained the interest of the audience throughout.
A thoroughly enjoyable performance.
