FURTHER SUCCESS!
Following on from their success in the Nidderdale and District Drama Festival, Pateley Bridge Dramatic Society's production of SELLING UP went on to compete in the Northern Semi- Final at The Frazer Theatre on Saturday 2nd May.
The production received high praise from adjudicator Russell Whitley, who awarded PBDS the Harry Mellor Trophy for 'Best Decor', an acknowledegement of the ingenious and inventive set created by our backstage wizzards.
In addition, Peter Buller and Jerry Harvey were both nominees for 'Best Actor', and Carol Bailey and Jenny McNair were both nominees for 'Best Actress'.
And to cap off another excellent competition, the play's Stage Effects were nominated in the Adjudicator's Award.
Well done to Writer/Director Keith Burton, the brilliant actors, and the wonderful backstage team - you've done the Society proud!
